Audio-Visual Speaker Recognition for Video Broadcast News

Audio-based speaker identification degrades severely when there is a mismatch between training and test conditions due either to channel or to noise. In this paper, we explore various techniques to combine video based speaker identification with audio-based speaker identification to improve the performance under mismatched conditions. Specifically, we explore techniques to optimally determine the relative weights of the independent decisions based on audio and video to achieve the best combination. Experiments on video broadcast news data show that significant improvements can be achieved by the fusion in acoustically degraded conditions.

随着新闻行业和互联网的飞速发展,新闻信息的数量以爆炸般的速度不断增长,制订统一的新闻信息技术标准成为在全国范围内实现新闻信息交流、共享的紧迫任务,该文在笔者参加的国家“十五”重大科技攻关专项——“中文新闻信息技术标准”项目研究基础上,对国内外各种新闻技术标准的研究成果进行了介绍,特别对基于语义的新闻元数据建模的思想方法进行了探讨和论述。

承载式皮卡后减震器安装点的车身结构优化设计

通过分析承载式皮卡车身结构,定义了后减震器安装点的动刚度要求.针对承载式皮卡特殊断面,提出加强Y向动刚度的概念形式,通过普式分析选取结构形式,并使用六西格玛设计工具对车身结构进一步优化设计.计算结果表明:在满足动刚度要求的同时,实现了车身结构的精益化设计.     

分子器件制作方法研究进展

随着现有超大规模集成电路日趋其发展极限,以分子器件作为电子元器件替代品,在世界各国得到高度重视,其发展也日新月异。本文综述了分子器件分类及其制作方法,以此来抛砖引玉,促进我国分子器件的发展。     

An improved laser ablation method using a shadow mask (eclipse method)

To eliminate droplet formation during the laser ablation thin film growth process, we proposed a new laser ablation technique, the “eclipse method,” which facilitated removing this droplet problem completely. In particular, YBa₂Cu₃O_y films obtained by this method had T_c ˜93 K and droplet‐free surfaces. To achieve growth rate enhancement in the low‐pressure condition and to introduce the activated species on the substrate in the eclipse method, we further proposed a new composite shadow mask method, the “eclipse angle method.” Furthermore, we found the Ar addition effect to improve the film qualities of Bi‐layered crystals. © 1999 Scripta Technica, Electr Eng Jpn, 130(1): 88–94, 2000

Tcl/Tk-based Agents for Mail and News Notification

Two agent implementations are described—one for mail notification and one for news notification. Both agents are implemented using Tcl. This paper provides a brief history and perspective of similar agents. Included are experiences using Tcl as an agent-implementation language, and comparisons of the results to similar agents. 小型空间飞行器集成化遥测系统设计与实现

传统遥测系统存在组成设备多、重量重、安装空间大、接口和电缆网复杂等不足，无法满足小型空间飞行器对重量、尺寸、飞行时序的灵活设计、遥测数据的事后处理等新的需求。针对该问题，提出了一种小型空间飞行器集成化遥测系统设计方法。该方法采用综合电子集成技术、循环下传设计、混合编帧和事后数据拼接处理方法，设计并实现了一种小型集成化遥测系统。地面及飞行试验表明，该系统降低了重量、尺寸和功耗，极大地降低了数据丢帧率，提高了无线传输系统的可靠性。该技术对于体积和重量要求苛刻的小型空间飞行器，具有良好的应用前景和推广价值。
